Here's another darwin award

Even it is afew years back, you still gotta luv this idot for improving the human gene pool by removing himself from it... (3 January 2005, St. Maurice, Switzerland) It was the first week of a weapons refresher course, and Swiss Army Grenadier Detachment 20/5 had just finished training with live ammunition. The shooting instructor ordered the soldiers to secure their weapons for a break. The 24-year-old second lieutenant, in charge of this detachment, decided this would be a good time to demonstrate a knife attack on a soldier. Wielding his bayonet, he leaped toward one of his men, achieving complete surprise. But earlier that week, the soldiers had been drilled to release the safety catch and ready their guns for firing in the shortest possible time. The surprised soldier, seeing his lieutenant leaping toward him with a knife, snapped off a shot to protect himself from the attack. The lesson could not have been more successful: the soldier had saved himself and protected the rest of t...

Darwin Award Again

(November 2007, Russia) Late one night, Eduard entered the apartment of a 30-year-old handicapped man, who slept peacefully as Eduard quietly cleaned out the valuables. Eduard was preparing to leave when suddenly the man woke up. "I couldn't believe my eyes! The dark shape of some goon was standing next to my nightstand!" recalls the burglary victim. "I cried out and he attacked me, who was defenseless, with his fists! I had no choice. I hit him between the legs with my crutch, and he leapt out the window. Thank God I live on the first floor, and he did not die from the fall. "I didn't understand at first what had fallen out of his pants. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a testicle, a man's testicle! I put it in cold water, and rushed to the phone." The handicapped man dialed the emergency services several times, but "the doctors hung up on me when I told them I had ripped a burglar's balls off!" Half an hour later,...

Darwin Award

A snippet for the Darwin award website:--- ---(July 16, 2008, Italy) Ivece Plattner, 68, was queued at a traffic light in his Porsche Cayenne sportscar. Before one reaches the light, there is a railroad crossing. As you might imagine, given Murphy's law, a train was coming. The man did not let the queue progress forward far enough before he crossed the railroad. The safety bars came down, leaving the Porsche trapped on the rails. It took the driver awhile to realize he was stuck, according to witnesses. Finally, he jumped from the car and started to run -- toward the oncoming train, waving his arms in an attempt to save his car! The attempt was successful. The car received less damage than its owner. He was pushed hard enough to land 30 meters away, and attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. The moral of the story? Momentum always wins.---- A definite role model for the stupid. I think by calling him stupid will be an insult to all those stupid people!!!

Freedom

Another blogger has been arrested. Another freedom of expressing free speech has been stop. What's going on man??!!Can we normal mortal express our views anymore? Is big brother so insecure that every criticism must be stop? Is there any place for freedom of free speech to be practice? You can kill the person but not the idea. Adoft Hilter is dead by the Nazism ideology is still there. Or maybe big brother is borrowing the quote from Sir Winston Churchill—“History will be kind to me for I intend to write it”. Will I be arrested too for expressing my point of view? Will I be silence too for not co-operate with the big brother? Here's a question to ponder, we were and are watched by the big brother for all our actions, so who watches the big brother? Are bloggers terrorist? Well one nation terrorist is another nation freedom fighter. “Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction”. ...

Ideal life??or just day dreaming

Number 3: “My idea of life” Three differences in time in life; the past, the present and the future. Three ways of achieving hope; to build, to pray and to fight. I guess us as a human falls under the 3 basic category of life: 1. Builder caste – build for hope 2. Religious caste – pray for hope 3. Warrior caste – fight for hope Builder caste; builds economics, structures for future generations. Religious caste; pray for a peaceful tomorrow. Warrior caste; fights and defends all those who are threaten the very way of life. Mankind was warriors of death once, now we should be warrior of life. Years ago humans fought to consume and now we are supposed to fight preserve our world, our future, our earth. And yet we are no better than we were before, we were no better than animals. Conflict, chaos, death, destruction, hunger, plague and so forth, who knows what does the future install for us. History is repeating itself, and yet we never learn from it. Greed, power and money were always the ...

Mushroom Management a role model for today's teens

Image
The above scanned letter refers to how does a dead man writes his/hers last dying request. In short, the whole letter is about how tenants/shop owners should bring more business/do marketing for or in other words solve this anonymous shopping complex's problems by dumping their personal management problem onto others. In my personal opinion, I think the majority can coin this management style " Mushroom Management", which coincidentally in-line with our country's style of management too. Hmm..surprise, surprise.. Clearly the so called "general manager" is moving ahead with his/hers grand plans by moving backward. And when i coin the word "backwards" I do go way way back when the dinosaur still roam the earth freely, not 5,10 or even 15 years backward. It is a surprise that a neanderthal such as this so-called "general manager" does and can actually survive the Jurassic ages and is thriving in today's society. And I...
