Acer E110 and P300 will favor on the Windows Mobile platform. Acer E110 features a TFT touchscreen of unknown type and resolution, four touch-sensitive buttons, 3G with HSDPA support, Bluetooth and GPS capabilities. It is runs on Android 2.0, but no further details are available yet. Its sibling - the P300 extends the E110 specs sheet with bigger screen, HSUPA support and Wi-Fi connectivity. Acer P300 will rely on Windows Mobile, but there is no word on its version. Source

LG announced another member of their Cookie touchscreen handset family. The entry-level LG Cookie Plus is a slightly pimped up version of the original KP500 Cookie. Including 3G with HSDPA and a better UI it will give users another option when looking for a touchscreen phone on the cheap. According to LG, one of the coolest new features of the GS500 Cookie Plus is the Cartoon-like UI. Sounds familiar? Yeah, that's because the Cartoon UI is one of the most promoted features of the Samsung Corby too. Oh by the way, the icons also look suspiciously familiar to what Samsung offered. Car design is one of those art forms that will never grow old. Someone will always find a way to make cars looks more beautiful or bad ass than ever before. Fabio Ferrante, a designer from Turin, designed this V Concept car for his girlfriend. It’s based on the 1967 Chevy Impala. Both elements have been inspired by the Impala. Another distinct design element of the Ferrante V Concept is the rear windscreen which falls back and almost completely covers the rear end of the car. The Ferrante V Concept is a 4 seat coupe that offers comfort, luxury and pleasure of driving while having the DNA of the muscle cars from the end of the 70s. In real life, the Ferrante V Concept would measure 5000mm in length, 2000mm in width and 1400mm in height. Fabio would power his concept with a hybrid drive train. LG unveiled a new touchscreen-enabled phones to reinforce the midrange segment of their portfolio. The LG GD880 Mini is a full-touch handset dubbed as the most compact phone with a 3.2" screen.Unfortunately, only few technical details about the phone. n addition to the 3.2" widescreen touchscreen, the LG GD880 Mini boasts a 5 megapixel camera, 3G with 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS. FM radio and a built-in microSD card slot complement the pretty nice upper mid-range package. LG didn't confirm the resolution of the GD880 Mini display but rumor has it that it will be 854 x 480 pixels. The Boeing/Sikorsky RAH-66 Comanche was an advanced U.S. Army military helicopter intended for the armed reconnaissance role, incorporating stealth technologies. It was also intended to designate targets for the AH-64 Apache. Sadly the RAH-66 program was canceled in 2004 before it was fielded. Abilities The sophisticated design of the Comanche helicopter allows it to dash to a speed of 175 knots, then cruise at a steady 165. The futuristic propulsion and navigation design also allows the helicopter to execute snap turns in 4.5 seconds and fly sideways or backwards at an incredible 70 mph! With a tremendous power output of 1,432 horsepower from each of it's turboshafts, the Comanche climbs at a rate of 1,418 feet per minute. Canon have just unveiled four new members of their PowerShot family. Those include the SX210 IS compact superzoom, the full-touch SD3500 IS (also known as IXUS 210) and the ultra-compact couple SD1400 IS and SD1300 IS (IXUS 130 and IXUS 105). The Canon SX210 IS comes to succeed the SX200 affordable ultrazoom and is built around a 14 megapixel 1/2.3” CCD sensor and a stabilized 14x zoom lens going from 28 to 392mm in 35mm equivalent. The SX210 IS also sports a metallic body and is capable of recording 720p video at 30 fps. Its LCD display measures 3” in diagonal and sports 230k pixels. The ultra-compact duo SD1400 IS and SD1300 IS have two different 1/2.3” sensors – the SD1400 IS sports 14 megapixels while the SD1300 IS has “only” 12. They do however share a relatively fast (F/2.8-5.9) 4x zoom lens covering the 28 -112mm range. Source

Canon have just announced the latest addition to their DSLR camera lineup, the EOS 550D. Packing an 18 megapixel sensor, pretty similar to the one found in the EOS 7D, the Canon EOS 550D is also capable of recording 1080p video at 30, 25 and 24fps. The Canon EOS 550D also packs a new 63-zone iFCL metering system with dual-zone sensor that should avoid overexposure in scenes with predominant red color and a 3” high-res (1040k dots) display. In fact that makes it the highest resolution DSLR display that I can think of. The continuous shooting mode at 3.7 fps and the ISO range expandable of 100-6400 (expandable to 12800) are the final upgrades that the 550D brings over its predecessor. The Canon EOS 550D should retail for USD900.

It looks like Transformers movie line action figures has turn into a somewhat disgusted-twisted-to-the point-of-perverse cash cow. The latest line for the the Transfomers move line is called "Unite for the Universe".. Above image shows the the 1st "United for the universe" toy of Optimus Prime and Jetfire.They retain the look of the movie line but seem to be either new molds or modifications of existing molds. JetPrime seems to be two parts. One is Optimus Prime with robot and vehicle mode while Jetfire is really just the backpack component that doubles as a gun and trailer or sorts.

HK416 is possibly the weapon of choice for 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D)a.k.a Delta Force over the Colt M4A1. The HK416 uses a proprietary gas system derived from the HK G36, replacing the direct impingement gas system used by the standard M16/M4. The HK system uses a short-stroke piston driving an operating rod to force the bolt carrier to the rear. This design prevents combustion gases from entering the weapon’s interior, a shortcoming with direct impingement systems. The reduction in heat and fouling of the bolt carrier group increases the reliability of the weapon and extends the interval between stoppages. It also reduces operator cleaning time and stress on critical components. HK416 is a gas operated, selective fired weapon of modular design. It uses short-stroke gas piston that operates the 7-lug rotating bolt. Receiver is made from high grade aluminium alloy. Combination-type safety / fire selector allows for single shots and full automatic mode.

Sony Ericsson officially unveiled their third QWERTY-packing WinMo handset. The bar-shaped Sony Ericsson Aspen is the second handset to officially run on the latest version of the Windows Mobile OS - 6.5.3. The handset will also pack the company proprietary panel interface that we have come to know from the XPERIA X 1 and X2. It packs a 2.4" touchscreen of QVGA resolution and is capable of worldwide roaming thanks to its quad-band GSM support. There will be two versions of the handset as far as 3G is concerned (900/2100 MHz and 850/900/2100 MHz) and they will both feature HSPA. The local connectivity options of the Sony Ericsson Aspen include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is a built-in GPS receiver and a microSD card slot and there is a 4GB microSD memory card included in the retail package.
