Sony Ericsson Aspen

Sony Ericsson officially unveiled their third QWERTY-packing WinMo handset. The bar-shaped Sony Ericsson Aspen is the second handset to officially run on the latest version of the Windows Mobile OS - 6.5.3. The handset will also pack the company proprietary panel interface that we have come to know from the XPERIA X 1 and X2.

It
packs a 2.4" touchscreen of QVGA resolution and is capable of worldwide roaming thanks to its quad-band GSM support. There will be two versions of the handset as far as 3G is concerned (900/2100 MHz and 850/900/2100 MHz) and they will both feature HSPA.

The local connectivity options of the Sony Ericsson Aspen include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is a built-in GPS receiver and a microSD card slot and there is a 4GB microSD memory card included in the retail package. The final noteworthy feature of the Sony Ericsson Aspen is its 3.2 megapixel fixed-focus camera.

Sony Ericsson Aspen will be available in Iconic Black and White Silver starting from Q2 of 2010. There is no information about its retail price yet.
