Couple beaten to death by kin
KUALA LUMPUR, 2008 3rd October: Problems occurs in our everyday life and society has their own individual ways of dealing with their personal problems. Some decide to deal with indirectly while other deal with it in a direct approach manner. As the latest Darwin award winner found out the hard way and decide to deal with the personal problems in a direct hard-core approach manner. A Malaysian couple apparently have found and agreed to an “alternative treatment” to rid them of their problems everlastingly by their relative during the coming festive season. The brain damage of a relative “doctor” who let’s assume for the greater good of society, never graduate from any medical school or have the sightless clue of human anatomy uses helmets and broomsticks as the “recommended” prescription to end their problems and as well as their lives.
The victims/clients Mohd Ibrahim Kader Mydin(which by the way is his real name), 47, a cell phone dealer(real occupation), and his wife Rosina S.M. Mydin Pillay(also real name), 41.were said to have been impressed by the “specialist” new found abilities to rid people of illnesses and problems. Wild and orthodox theories indeed but never the less it has manage to impress a few brain damage socialites inclusive our Darwin award winner. It is believed that victims agreed to participate in the highly anticipated “ritual treatment” that involved beating each other with helmets and broomsticks. During the ritual, the couple passed out and failed to regain consciousness. Period.
To further impress his “patients” or “clients”, the “specialist” of this new and profound “alternative cleansing ritual treatment” assured his clients that they (the victims) are now in deep cleansing state and shall awaken into a new person. As time passes by, the victims/patient was still in a deep cleansing state. By night fall, other loyal clients/customers soon realize that the motionless couple had pass away and now on their way to St.Peter’s gate.
Five others brain damage socialites who were also proud participant in the “cleansing ritual”, including the couple’s children and relatives, suffered head injuries and are being treated at the local hospital in Kuala Lumpur. Sadly they survive the ordeal.
Local law enforcements detained the proud participants in this “alternative cleansing ritual treatment” including the “specialist” for questioning.
The post-mortem results showed that the couple died from serious head injuries.
Police are investigating claims that the “specialist” suffered from mental illness, and commented that two bloodied helmets and several broomsticks believed to have been used in the ritual were recovered from the scene. Police obtained a seven-day remand order for the four people to assist in investigations.
A true Darwin Award recipient indeed. Just goes to show that if we all put our mind or the lack of it to work, we can indeed archive greatness in so every and ever deserving way.
